Raya: My Version

A friend asked me, " do u have a great awesome superb fantastic time with family, friend and schoolchildren?"

To which i replied, "biasa saja la encik".

I mean, we have family gathering at least once a month. Chatting and having dinner with my mom daily (except for weekend). Most of d schoolchildren are only a clik away (thanx to fb) and my friends... they are scattered all over d world, seeing once a week in facebook is more than enough.

Food? My mom is a great cook, so every day i had a feast. Besides, at my age i had to watch my diet too.

For me d only highlight of eid is when we visit our late dad grave and griefed.. (i m emo ok.

This year, it poured heavily after Raya Prayer. Going out was impossible.

Hah! Then we stuffed ourselves. Not a good practice considering during Ramadhan I have trained for a frugal life.

I feel so so bad.

When I were happier

Today Ayeen showed old pix. 10 yrs old i guess.. 12 kg ago... She promised to upload in facebook.

There were her, Kak Sha, Kak Ma, Zana, Cikgu Mie and a few others during few events. I missed all those time, when life was easy and free.

When i was much happier. Because today, I m not.

Even when a person put on her-candy-coated talk i could smell rat instead.

But then, while typing this, Zana called me and handed a plateful of yummy fried kueteow. A blessing because I dont have the heart to cook 2 day.

Maybe I should forget the rat, and avoided her like plague.
